Il minareto di Consonno

Per conoscere la storia di Consonno, piccolo paese abbandonato in provincia di Lecco, potete visitare il sito ufficiale www.consonno.it oppure anche il myspace dedicato www.myspace.com/consonno. Per quanto mi riguarda, ne avevo già parlato in questo post: Silent rooms: Consonno. Dalla stessa sessione fotografica ho ricavato anche le foto presentate qui sotto, entrambe scattate sul tetto della costruzione principale da cui si innalza il minareto.

Consonno is a little abandoned village near Lecco in the North Italy. During the 60's a rich manager tried to build here a sort of Italian Las Vegas, a "paese dei balocchi", but after some years this place has been abandoned. The buildings are the unique attestation of this strange past. The photos are referred to the main building of the village, a shopping center in arabian style with a fake minaret.

L'atmosfera serale ha creato un alone di mistero - The evening atmosphere has created an aura of mistery

Da sotto la struttura del minareto una balaustra permette una vista delle montagne circostanti, leggermente illuminate dalla Luna piena. E' una vista quieta, che stride con l'atmosfera inquietante del posto - From under the structure of the minaret, a balustrade allows a sight of the surrounding mountains, slightly lit by the full Moon. It's a quiet sight which jangle with the disturbing atmosphere of this place.
